About Grok Imagine Image 2.0
Imagine Image 2.0 was released on August 7, 2026 as Quality Mode on grok.com/imagine and in the Grok iOS and Android apps, and in the API as grok-imagine-image-2.0. The quality parameter accepts low, medium or auto (default; currently low for generation and medium for editing), and images are billed at the quality served. Up to 10 images can be generated per request, and editing accepts up to 5 source images.
